I'm Annette Shaw, musician, sound medicine weaver and teacher.
I have been tuning in with sound, colour and energy since childhood.
It has a way of transforming our lives, retuning and restoring us,
almost without us even noticing it happening.
Sound, directed with intention and high integrity dissolves energetic disturbance and
turgid stagnation, loosens energetic knots from trauma and wounds and allows the energy field to flow, illuminate, expand even more into radiance and wellbeing.
This energy field stores, carries, expresses all that we have experienced.
I work with this outer energetic field, and the infinite energy within and
somehow there is no difference between.
Sound works through the layers, transmuting, retuning with entrainment.
Sounding through the blocks we've assembled, whether we are aware of them or not, speaking to us from beyond time and space.
The more we can experience this and begin to allow our perceptions to change, the more we atune ourselves to our inner knowing, resources, wisdom.
We raise our vibrations and dimensional experience to the highest levels
possible at that time.
Seemingly imperceptible shifts, can change everything.
The gong is one of the most powerful tools for Sound Healing, carrying a vast spectrum of tones unmatched by any other instrument. When played with skill and presence, its deep vibrations move through the whole being—restoring balance on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels.
We can picture the body as a musical instrument, with different life experiences and ways we gather to cope, hindering us from resonating at our true natural resonating frequencies.
The gong acts as the re-tuning force, bringing everything back into harmony,
our entire being immersed in a bath of sound.
Integrity and intention are vital when working with an instrument of such depth and power. In the right hands, the gong is more than music, it is a practice of healing, a release of tension, a path to deep rest, and a doorway into meditation and spiritual growth.

About the event
You are invited into the sanctuary of this beautiful yoga studio in the heart of Bishopston. To take time out from the endless scurry of thoughts and things to do. To lie down in a cocoon of high vibrational healing sound energies.
Essential oil blends filling the air. Allowing yourself to go on a journey beyond the body and the physical into the realms of colour, magic and infinite love. The intention for this sound bath will be expanding within and beyond the heart space, dissolving barriers and protection walls that we may have developed, so that our life experience may become more true, radiant, connected, higher vibrationally, rich with kindness, abundance, colour and love
