Sound as a way of remembering
Hello, I’m Annette,
musician, sound healing practitioner and teacher.
I’ve been tuning in with sound, colour, energy and more since childhood.
I work with sound as a way to retune, restore, illuminate, and reawaken.
A bridge for you to reconnect, or deepen your connection,
with your natural, intuitive flow.
More and more of us are moving through life holding far more than we realise.
This can show up as:
overwhelm
restless or broken sleep
a sense of agitation or disconnection
feeling slightly out of rhythm with yourself
Sound offers a way to gently step out of that pattern
and into something quieter, deeper, more settled, more aligned.
During sessions, I weave sound within the space we are held in together.
I work intuitively, sensing the body energetically,
following what arises in the moment.
Each session is different.
Each one meets you exactly where you are.
Experiencing Sound in this way brings us:
deep rest and nervous system settling,
emotional release and integration,
a sense of inner realignment,
a return to clarity and calm
Subtle and ongoing as the sound assimilates.
You do not need to be ready to go deep and you
do not need to open anything you don’t want to.
These sessions are not about pushing or uncovering.
They are about creating a space where the system can soften at its own pace.
For some, that feels like a profound and much needed rest.
For others, a quiet sense of landing and connecting.
For others a journey beyond our imagination.
no one better than the other or more effective, sound meets us as we are.
Everything unfolds in a way that feels safe and natural for you.
In amongst everything that life brings, that infinite well within is always there.
That quiet, knowing part of you, the heart space,
that has brought you here.
When we begin to get out of the way, something softer begins to move.
Sound helps to quiet the chattering mind,
so that this space becomes easier to reach.
From here, gentle but profound shifts can begin.

About the event
The Gong Practitioner Training with the College of Sound Healing is a CMA-certified, year-long programme held over five immersive weekends.
This training is an invitation into sound at its deepest level—where the gong is not simply an instrument, but a threshold. A way of listening beyond the surface of things, into something more essential, more foundational.
Many are drawn to this work through a quiet but persistent sense of longing—a feeling that there is more beneath the noise of everyday life. This course offers a grounded, structured way to explore that pull through sound, practice, and direct experience.
Across the year, you will combine 70 hours of in-person teaching with personal practice, reflective coursework, case studies, recommended reading, and one-to-one mentoring. The rhythm of the training allows time for both immersion and integration, so that understanding develops through lived experience rather than theory alone.
You will learn how to work…
