Sound Healing with Annette
Bristol Gong Baths
Thank you for visiting my website
I'm Annette Shaw, musician, sound medicine weaver and teacher.
I offer Sound Healing as 1-1 treatments, groups of 2 or more,
retreats, workshops, ceremonies, practitioner training and much more.
I work with gongs, bowls, voice medicine and other instruments to activate, retune, illuminate and awaken at a cellular level and beyond .
Intervals, music, sound runs throughout everything.
We are energetic beings, with a force field around, through and about us all infinitely.
This energy field is like a library, storing all that we have experienced.
Sound, directed with intention and high integrity dissolves energetic disturbance and
stagnation, loosens energetic knots from trauma and wounds and allows the energy field to flow, illuminate, expand even more into radiance and wellbeing.
I have been tuning in to sound, energy and colour since childhood and work with this outer energetic field, and the infinite energy within and
somehow there is no difference between.
I love to help others to connect into these healing fields..
Sound works through the layers, transmuting, retuning.
Sounding through the blocks we've assembled, whether we are aware of them or not, speaking to us from beyond time and space.
The more we can experience this and begin to allow our perceptions to change, the more we atune ourselves to our inner knowing, resources, wisdom.
We raise our vibrations and dimensional experience to the highest levels
possible at that time.
Seemingly imperceptible shifts, can change everything.
.
We can picture the body as a musical instrument, with different life experiences and ways we gather to cope, hindering us from resonating at our true natural resonating frequencies.
,
Consciously stepping out and connecting in to a higher dimensional space, (we can all do this), my intention always that the sound is for the highest good.
Integrity and intention are vital when working with an instrument of such depth and power. In the right hands, the gong is more than music—it is a practice of healing, a release of tension, a path to deep rest, and a doorway into meditation and spiritual growth.

About the event
The College of Sound Healing’s Gong Practitioner Training Course© is a CMA-certificated programme offered over five weekends across one year—a journey into the heart of sound and its transformative power.
The training combines 70 hours of formal in-person instruction with personal practice, coursework, case studies, reading, and one-to-one mentoring, guiding participants to cultivate both technical mastery and a deep resonance with the subtle, healing currents of the gong.
Through this programme, participants awaken the knowledge, skill, and inner sensitivity to step fully into the role of Certified Gong Practitioner, facilitating therapeutic sessions for individuals and groups with presence, intention, and attuned energy. The course invites a sacred relationship with the gong—not merely as an instrument, but as a living, vibrating ally of transformation and healing.
This programme was created for the College by Sheila Whittaker, ensuring that the training honours tradition while opening a pathway to the profound, sacred potential of…
