Bristol Gong Baths

Hello :) I'm Annette Shaw, musician, sound healing practitioner, and teacher,
attuned to sound, colour, energy, interconnection since childhood.
Working with sound both as a way to retune, restore, reawaken and offer a bridge for you to reconnect or deepen your connection with your innate inner, magical wisdom.
I believe the true beauty comes through being an empty vessel, a channel, noticing expanding awareness.
And sound, music, meditations, the spaces in between, carry depths of layers that are so much more than we hear or understand.
Sound and vibration thoroughly support the nervous system, regulate stress, promote feelings of calm and wellbeing, greater clarity and deeper sleep.
Sound can guide the brain into slower brainwave states such as alpha (8–12 Hz), theta (4–8 Hz), and often delta (0.5–4 Hz), associated with deep rest, repair, meditation, and inner stillness.

A mirror relationship between sound, the body, and nature, where harmony in vibration supports harmony within. Sound moves beyond what can be measured, flowing through the subtle layers of our being where memory, emotion, and energy are held, where even the smallest shifts can create profound change.
I offer 1–1 sessions and group experiences in workplaces, schools, ceremonies, support at end of life, as well as Gong Practitioner Trainings and workshops in Bristol with The College of Sound Healing.
The Gong
The gong is a powerful instrument for transformation, carrying a vast spectrum of frequencies
that interact with the body on physical and energetic levels.
With integrity and intention, the gong becomes a bridge between science and the subtle, a pathway to healing, deep rest, meditation, and inner expansion.

About the event
A weekend immersed in the world of Gongs.
A supportive, nourishing, supportive small group, where you will spend the day learning skills and ways of connecting with these beautiful instruments.
You do not need experience, or need to be a musician, all you need is an open heart that feels a yes to this.
You will need a thick mat/futon, big blanket, pillow, some water, a notebook and pen.
By the end of the weekend, you will have formed your own profound relationship with the gong, ready to find ever more depths to your playing. Perhaps through the next step, which is the full Practitioner training .
Please get in touch if you would like to know more.
