Sound Healing with Annette
Bristol Gong Baths
Thank you for visiting the website,
I'm Annette Shaw, musician, sound medicine weaver and teacher.
I offer Sound Healing as 1-1 treatments, groups of 2 or more,
retreats, workshops, ceremonies, practitioner training and much more.
Whether you seek to receive or gift transformational sound healing,
or perhaps you would like to train as a sound healing practitioner yourself,
I would love to hear fom you.
Intervals, notes, music, sound runs throughout everything.
We are energetic beings, with a force field around us all, that stores, carries and expresses all that we experience.
I work with this energetic biofield and the infinite energy within and
somehow there is no difference between.
Sound works through the layers, transmuting, coaxing back into tune with entrainment.
Sounding through the blocks we've assembled, whether we are aware of them or not, speaking to us from beyond time and space.
The more we can experience this and begin to allow our perceptions to change, the more we atune ourselves to our inner knowing, resources, wisdom.
We raise our vibrations and dimensional experience to the highest levels possible at that time.
Seemingly imperceptible shifts, can change everything.
The gong is one of the most powerful tools for Sound Healing, carrying a vast spectrum of tones unmatched by any other instrument. When played with skill and presence, its deep vibrations move through the whole being—restoring balance on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels.
We can picture the body as a musical instrument, with different life experiences and ways we gather to cope, hindering us from resonating at our true natural resonating frequencies.
The gong acts as the re-tuning force, bringing everything back into harmony,
our entire being immersed in a bath of sound.
When I play, I consciously step out and connect in to a higher dimensional space, (we can all do this). My intention that the sound is for the highest good. Integrity and intention are vital when working with an instrument of such depth and power. In the right hands, the gong is more than music—it is a practice of healing, a release of tension, a path to deep rest, and a doorway into meditation and spiritual growth.

About the event
As a mother, piano teacher and sound therapist, I am well used to the pressure upon children and teens from school, phones and various aspects of life.
A Sound Bath offers the opportunity for deep rest and replenishment and a retune to true self. An hour will seem like ten minutes as sound used in this way induces deep relaxation by leading the brain into theta and even delta states, so no need to worry about concentration levels or abilities to keep still. Sound used in this way is soothing to the soul and regular attendees report feeling more connection to their space within, to creative possibilities and to an inner calm and wisdom.
